Arjun Chheda and Ishaan Madesh, both National karting champions, each secured a victory in the MRF Formula 2000 category, while Sai Shiva Sankaran dominated the MRF Formula 1600 class with three wins, totaling five victories this season.
Arjun Chheda leads the championship standings with five wins, closely followed by Ishaan Madesh, just five points behind. Sai Shiva Sankaran holds a significant 24-point lead over Arjun Nair from Bengaluru. The mechanics of Arka Motorsports played a pivotal role in preparing the cars for the Indian Touring Cars class races, enabling Chennai’s Ritesh Rai to secure a double win.
Karna Kadur, an 8-time National rally champion, returned to racing after 20 years and achieved a podium finish. Meanwhile, former National champion Arjun Balu faced multiple retirements due to car issues. Dhruv Chavan from Lonavla leads the ITC Class championship, closely followed by Pithawalla and Ritesh Rai. Dilijith TS continued his winning streak in the Super Stock class, while Kesara Godage and Viswas Vijayaraj excelled in their respective categories.
Joel Joseph from Ernakulam emerged victorious in the Formula LGB 1300 category, leading in both Open and Junior classes. In the MRF Saloons (Toyota Etios) category, Akshay Muralidharan and Mohamed Arfath claimed a race each, with Muralidharan currently leading the championship.
