Three children tragically lost their lives while attempting to rescue a drowning boy in Tikamgarh, Madhya Pradesh. The incident took place at Siddh Sagar Pond near the Astaun police outpost. A 13-year-old boy named Dev was bathing in the pond when he slipped into deep water and began to drown.
Prince Ahirwar (11), Deepesh Ahirwar (10), and Raj Ahirwar (12) saw Dev struggling and bravely jumped into the pond to save him. Although they successfully rescued Dev, the three boys got trapped in a deeper part of the pond and drowned. The bodies of the children were discovered by villagers, leading to a profound sense of sorrow in the community.
Police and local authorities were promptly notified, and a recovery operation was launched to retrieve the bodies from the pond. Following necessary procedures, the bodies were handed over to the grieving families. Dev, the boy who was rescued, survived the incident and is reported to be safe.
