Three workers lost their lives, and two others were injured when they fell from the fifth floor of an under-construction building in Hyderabad. The tragic incident took place in Al-Hasnat Colony in the Tolichowki area due to a collapse of the scaffolding. Two workers died immediately, while another passed away during treatment.

Locals rushed the two injured workers, who fell on bricks and sticks, to a nearby hospital for medical care. The deceased workers, reportedly migrant workers from Srikakulam district in Andhra Pradesh, were taken for autopsy. Investigations by the police revealed that the lack of safety measures during construction work led to the accident.

State Labour Minister Vivek Venkataswamy instructed officials to ensure the best possible treatment for the injured workers. He also demanded a detailed report on the incident and the health status of the workers. Additionally, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLC Dr. Dasoju Sravan visited the site and expressed sorrow over the unfortunate event.

Dr. Sravan raised concerns about the approval process for a seven-storey building on a small plot and questioned the authorities about illegal constructions in the city. He criticized the government for neglecting safety regulations and demanded strict action against those responsible for the incident. The BRS emphasized the need for immediate inquiries and enforcement actions to prevent such tragedies in the future.
