The popular streaming series ‘Thukra Ke Mera Pyaar’ is all set to make a comeback with its second season, offering a narrative that is darker, more intense, and highly unpredictable. Returning with lead actors Sanchita Basu and Dhaval Thakur playing Shanvika Chauhan and Kuldeep Kumar, the new season delves into a storyline set against the backdrop of small-town India, exploring themes beyond love and heartbreak to delve into the realms of power, politics, and personal histories.

Sanchita Basu, portraying Shanvika, expressed that this season of ‘Thukra Ke Mera Pyaar’ showcases a stronger and more resilient side of her character, intertwined deeply with Kuldeep’s story. The dynamics between Kuldeep and Shanvika are portrayed as intricate, intense, and pivotal to the plot, revealing a profound connection between them that audiences will witness in a new light this time around.

Dhaval Thakur, reprising the role of Kuldeep Kumar, described his character as a man of contradictions—strong yet vulnerable, righteous yet flawed. He highlighted that the upcoming season delves deeper into Kuldeep’s emotional journey, focusing not only on his external battles but also on the internal conflicts he faces. With heightened intensity, elevated stakes, and a larger emotional canvas, Thakur expressed his anticipation for viewers to experience this unexplored facet of his character.

The series delves into themes of heartbreak, self-worth, and emotional resilience within contemporary relationships, portraying a young protagonist navigating through love, betrayal, and the aftermath of rejection, illustrating the evolution of personal identity through loss. Through a blend of intense emotions and relatable scenarios, the show mirrors the complexities of dating in the digital era. ‘Thukra Ke Mera Pyaar’ season 2 is scheduled to premiere on JioHotstar in June.
