A tragic incident occurred in Udaipur as a two-year-old girl fell into Lake Pichola from a window of Hotel Jagat Niwas and later passed away at the hospital. The family, visiting from Delhi, was having breakfast at the lakeside hotel when the child slipped into the lake.
The family, consisting of Sonu Singh Tanwar, his wife Monica, and their daughter Dhimahi, had come to Udaipur for a vacation. While the parents were having breakfast, the toddler accidentally fell from a window of the second-floor dining area of Hotel Jagat Niwas into the lake.
Hotel staff and onlookers promptly rescued the child from the water and rushed her to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead by doctors. The body was then taken for a post-mortem examination at Maharana Bhupal Hospital before being handed over to the family for final rites.
