As the World Cup excitement builds, Hollywood actor Tom Holland has collaborated with soccer icon Lionel Messi ahead of the release of his upcoming movie ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’. In a special video shared by the film’s creators, Messi is seen searching for Spider-Man, eventually encountering Peter Parker in a New York coffee shop. Tom transforms into Spider-Man, taking Messi on a thrilling web-slinging adventure across the city, leaving the football star in awe.
‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ is the fourth installment in the MCU Spider-Man series, delving into the aftermath of ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’. Following a world where Peter Parker’s existence is erased by Doctor Strange’s spell, he embarks on a new journey as a solitary Spider-Man safeguarding New York. The movie portrays Peter navigating life without his usual allies MJ and Ned, confronting fresh challenges and alterations to his powers.
Marvel’s approach with this Spider-Man narrative focuses on a more down-to-earth, neighborhood-friendly storyline, showcasing Peter’s evolution into the self-reliant hero fans have longed to witness. The film is slated for a 2026 release, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and scripted by Chris McKenna, Erik Sommers, and Justin Kuritzkes. Produced by Kevin Feige, Amy Pascal, Avi Arad, and Rachel O’Connor, with Louis D’Esposito and David Cain as executive producers, the movie features a star-studded cast including Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Tramell Tillman, Michael Mando, and Mark Ruffalo.
Scheduled to hit Indian screens on July 30, ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ will be available in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, courtesy of Sony Pictures Entertainment India.
