Amid preparations for Union Minister Nitin Gadkari’s inspection of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, a tragic accident occurred near the Jalimpura interchange. A speeding dumper truck collided with a stationary tourist minibus, resulting in one passenger’s death and injuries to several others.
The tourist minibus, carrying around 30 passengers returning to Delhi from Ujjain, was hit by the dumper truck. Reports indicate that the passengers, believed to be Delhi Jal Board employees, were caught off guard by the crash, causing panic and chaos at the scene.
The deceased passenger was identified as 50-year-old Charan Singh, while several others were injured, with four in critical condition referred to Kota for treatment. Prompt rescue efforts by local residents, bystanders, and emergency services helped in swiftly attending to the victims and clearing the accident site for traffic movement.
