After the formation of a new group in Trinamool Congress’ legislative party in the West Bengal Assembly led by expelled legislator Ritabrata Banerjee, the party’s original block, loyal to former Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and her nephew, General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee, has announced the dissolution of all internal committees.
The decision to dissolve all internal committees of the party in West Bengal and its frontal organizations was announced through a statement on the official social media handle of “All India Trinamool Congress.” The party cited the need for a comprehensive introspection and assessment of its organization at all levels as the reason behind this move.
The leadership, without specifying the exact reasons for the dissolution, stated that a thorough exercise of introspection, performance review, and organizational assessment will be conducted at all levels. Following this evaluation, the organizational structure of the party and its frontal organizations will be reconstituted and revealed in the future to enhance the party’s readiness for upcoming challenges.
Minutes after the new block in Trinamool Congress’ legislative party in West Bengal submitted a resolution to the Speaker, naming Ritabrata Banerjee as the Leader of Opposition and appointing other key positions, the decision to dissolve internal committees was made public. However, there has been no response from prominent party figures like Mamata Banerjee or Abhishek Banerjee regarding this development.
