The Trinamool Congress introduced a new slogan, “Jotoi Koro Hamla, Abar Jitbe Bangla” (No matter how much you attack, Bengal will win again), ahead of the upcoming West Bengal Assembly elections. This slogan was revealed through the party’s official communication channel after a strong critique of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the Union government, and the Election Commission of India by the Trinamool Congress general secretary. The party also launched a logo featuring images of Abhishek Banerjee and Mamata Banerjee.

The Trinamool Congress stated that the new slogan and logo represent the grievances of the public towards the BJP and the central government. Crafting slogans before elections has been a tradition for the Trinamool Congress, with past slogans like “Bangla Nijer Meyekei Chai” (Bengal wants its own daughter) in the 2021 polls and “Jonogoner Gorjon, Banglay BJPer Bisorjon” (The roar of the people will lead to the BJP’s ouster from Bengal) for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

A senior Trinamool Congress official revealed that the new slogan for the 2026 Assembly elections was conceived by Abhishek Banerjee to counter the BJP’s slogan “Bangla Bachte Chai, BJP Tai” (To save Bengal, people want the BJP). The party believes that the logo and slogan resonate with the people of West Bengal, reflecting their discontent and desire to move away from the BJP.
