Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha highlighted the significance of yoga in shaping the discipline, physical fitness, and mental resilience of young individuals. Speaking at the 69th National School Games 2025-26 Yoga Asana competition for Under-17 Boys in Agartala, he underlined the role of yoga in promoting India’s cultural heritage and overall well-being.
Saha expressed pride in hosting the event, noting its potential to instill values of self-discipline and excellence in the youth. The competition, jointly organized by various sports bodies, is viewed as a milestone in Tripura’s sports history, according to the Chief Minister.
