Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha stressed the importance of teachers working responsibly and using modern teaching techniques to impart knowledge effectively to students. Saha underlined the necessity of integrating technology into education alongside traditional learning methods.
Distributing appointment letters to postgraduate teachers, the Chief Minister emphasized the state’s commitment to quality education that adapts to changing times. He personally handed out appointment letters to 34 newly recruited teachers, emphasizing the government’s efforts to fill vacancies promptly and transparently. Saha reiterated the government’s focus on merit-based recruitment without the need for recommendations.
Saha highlighted the state government’s transparent recruitment policies, ensuring recognition for talented and hardworking individuals. He emphasized the importance of developing infrastructure and conducting recruitment processes with transparency and planning. The Chief Minister aimed to build public trust through transparent governance and people-centric initiatives, urging teachers to foster positive environments in educational institutions.
The government’s focus on educational infrastructure development includes regular teacher recruitment drives across schools in the state. Saha revealed that since 2018, over 7,000 teachers have been recruited transparently under the School Education Department. Additionally, more than 21,000 educated unemployed youths have secured government jobs through transparent recruitment processes, with thousands engaged on contractual and outsourcing arrangements.
