Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha reiterated the government’s commitment to providing top-notch assistance and quality healthcare to the people of the state. He highlighted the significant role of telemedicine in delivering advanced medical services, especially for economically disadvantaged patients. Saha encouraged residents to utilize local medical facilities to avoid unnecessary expenses unless specialized care is necessary.
During the 62nd episode of Mukhya Mantri Samipeshu, the Chief Minister interacted with individuals from various regions, addressing their medical concerns and directing officials to promptly resolve issues. As a dental surgeon himself, Saha empathetically listened to the grievances and needs of the people, ensuring immediate steps were taken for their welfare.
At the event held at his official residence, Saha provided financial assistance to Anukul Das, who recently lost his son in a tragic incident. Additionally, he instructed the Health Department to facilitate urgent treatment and medication supply for individuals like Bijankanya Malsom, Swapan Pal, and Biswajit Dhar, who are battling serious health conditions.
Furthermore, Saha assured support to numerous residents seeking help for heart diseases and other critical illnesses. The Chief Minister’s proactive approach towards addressing healthcare needs was evident as he directed officials to arrange advanced treatments for those suffering from complex medical conditions.
Senior officials, including Health and Family Welfare Secretary Kiran Gitte and Social Welfare Secretary Tapas Roy, were present at the program, underscoring the government’s dedication to ensuring the well-being of the state’s residents.
