Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha encouraged people, especially the youth, to embrace the principles of Bharat Kesari Shyama Prasad Mukherjee for nation-building and public service. Speaking at an event commemorating Mukherjee’s 125th birth anniversary in Agartala, Saha highlighted Mukherjee’s patriotism, educational contributions, parliamentary role, and visionary leadership that continue to inspire generations.
Saha emphasized the importance of acknowledging the sacrifices made by great leaders for the nation, noting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi underscores the youth’s significance as the country’s strength. Reflecting on Mukherjee’s remarkable achievements, Saha mentioned how Mukherjee became the youngest Vice-Chancellor of Calcutta University at 33, showcasing his dedication to national service over personal comfort. Saha also highlighted the pivotal role of the youth, aged between 18 and 40, in India’s progress, with the Prime Minister leading the country forward with their support.
Saha further emphasized the enduring influence of legendary figures like Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya in guiding the nation.
