President Donald Trump asserted that the United States eradicated Iran’s nuclear weapons program and terminated eight wars, emphasizing American military prowess. Trump disclosed a military operation dubbed “Operation Midnight Hammer” that eliminated Iran’s nuclear program with an attack on Iranian soil. He reiterated the long-standing US policy of preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, expressing a preference for diplomatic solutions but vowing to prevent Iran, a top sponsor of terrorism, from possessing such arms.

Trump outlined a national security strategy centered on “PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH,” highlighting a substantial investment of $1 trillion in the US Armed Forces. He also noted NATO allies’ commitment to increase defense spending to 5% of GDP, a significant rise from the previous 2%. In Latin America, Trump claimed victory over dictator Nicolas Maduro, aiming to bring him to justice and collaborate with the new president for mutual economic benefits.

The President emphasized a robust counter-narcotics approach, designating cartels as Foreign Terrorist Organizations and labeling illicit Fentanyl as a Weapon of Mass Destruction. Trump cited success in curbing Fentanyl trafficking by sea and waterways through a military campaign. Notably, he asserted ending eight conflicts within his tenure, including resolving tensions between Israel and Iran and working towards peace in the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

Trump defended his tariff policies, attributing the nation’s economic progress to tariffs despite legal challenges. He affirmed the continuation of tariffs as a means of economic leverage, foreseeing a shift towards tariffs replacing income tax revenue in the future. The President’s speech intertwined foreign policy with economic strategies, underscoring the interconnectedness of global affairs and economic stability.
