Trump mentioned that the cooperation with NATO would be a key aspect of the arrangement concerning Greenland. He clarified that the United States would not bear costs beyond constructing a “Golden Dome” and stressed the collaborative efforts with NATO.
Regarding Ukraine, Trump mentioned that envoys were en route to Moscow and stressed the importance of direct talks. He expressed optimism about the possibility of a deal, stating that both Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelensky seemed interested in reaching an agreement.
Trump also touched upon various international issues, including Venezuela and Iran. He praised Venezuela’s leadership and highlighted the flow of oil to the United States. Additionally, he warned of consequences if Iran resumed executions and mentioned impending tariffs on companies engaging with Iran.
On domestic matters, Trump discussed economic policies, including a proposed cap on credit card interest rates. He mentioned plans for campaign travel ahead of the midterms, economic indicators, and upcoming engagements with China.
