US President Donald Trump expressed readiness to assist Iran, stating that the country is “looking at FREEDOM,” in a recent post on Truth Social. Trump emphasized the United States’ willingness to support Iran during the current situation.

Trump, along with senior US officials, has consistently cautioned that the US would intervene if Iran engages in violence against peaceful demonstrators. While Trump clarified that this intervention does not entail deploying troops, he emphasized a strong response against such actions.

Iran’s Foreign Ministry criticized the Trump administration’s remarks as “interventionist and deceptive,” denouncing what it perceived as ongoing hostility from Washington towards the Iranian people. The ministry’s statement highlighted the discord between the two nations.

Protests have erupted across various Iranian cities in response to economic challenges, including currency devaluation and enduring financial struggles. Iranian authorities have acknowledged the protests, expressing a commitment to addressing economic grievances while cautioning against destructive behavior.

The Iranian military has vowed to safeguard national interests, protect critical infrastructure, and public assets amidst the ongoing demonstrations. Calling for unity against perceived external threats, the military emphasized the need to thwart any attempts to disrupt public peace and security.
