Tushar Deshpande’s three sixes in four balls secured a semifinal spot for MSC Maratha Royals in the T20 Mumbai League 2026. Maratha Royals defeated Arcs Andheri by five wickets at the Wankhede Stadium. Deshpande’s crucial performance, along with Ayaz Khan’s 87 runs, led the team to victory in a must-win match.
In response to Arcs Andheri’s 168 runs, Maratha Royals faced early setbacks but were rescued by Ayaz Khan’s maiden half-century. Khan’s partnership with Om Bangar and Maxwell David Swaminathan helped stabilize the innings. Deshpande’s unbeaten 20 off six balls ensured Maratha Royals’ win.
Arcs Andheri, despite Musheer Ahmed Khan’s 62 runs, struggled against Maratha Royals’ disciplined bowling attack. The Royals’ bowlers, including Deshpande, Irfan Umair, and Atharva Bhosale, played a key role in restricting Andheri to 168 all out. The upcoming semifinals will feature Arcs Andheri against Aakash Tigers MWS and North Mumbai Panthers against MSC Maratha Royals.
