Twisha Sharma’s father, Navnidhi Sharma, expressed skepticism regarding a recent burglary at retired judge Giribala Singh’s home, where the actress-model passed away under suspicious circumstances. He suggested that the incident might have been orchestrated and called for a thorough investigation. Sharma highlighted the significance of the location, which is a key crime scene in the CBI probe, raising concerns about the timing and potential impact on the judicial process.
The alleged burglary became a topic of discussion during a court session in Bhopal, with Sharma emphasizing the need for a high-level inquiry into the matter. He questioned the motives behind the theft, especially considering its occurrence at a site under active investigation by the authorities. The defense’s request for Giribala Singh to visit her residence to identify the targeted items was met with opposition from the CBI, citing the separation of the burglary incident from Twisha Sharma’s death investigation.
Sharma also voiced unease over the delay in receiving post-mortem and forensic reports, underscoring the importance of scientific findings in advancing the investigation. He expressed hope for the prompt finalization of these reports to facilitate progress in the case without further interruptions. Meanwhile, the court extended the judicial remand of Giribala Singh and her son, advocate Samarth Singh, until July 14, setting a hearing date for the CBI’s applications related to voice samples and forensic examination of seized items.
