Two young individuals lost their lives, and another was critically injured in a tragic road accident in Telangana’s Jagtial district. The incident occurred near Hanumajipet when a car collided with an electricity pole late Saturday night. The deceased have been identified as Sai Teja (22) and Navaneeth (22), while the injured youth is Srujan (22) who has been hospitalized.
Three friends, all students at an engineering college in Hyderabad, were on their way back to Jagital after celebrating Sankranti at their hometowns. While returning from a gathering near Porandla, the driver lost control of the vehicle, crashing into the roadside pole. Authorities suspect alcohol impairment as a contributing factor to the accident. Sadly, two of the occupants passed away at the scene before medical assistance could be provided.
In a separate incident in Bhadradri Kothagudem district, 13 individuals sustained injuries when a trolley auto-rickshaw overturned near Seeta Nagar in Palvancha mandal. The injured were promptly taken to a hospital, with five of them reported to be in critical condition. Additionally, in a different accident in Visakhapatnam, a newlywed woman named Rama Himaji (27) lost her life, and her husband, MVV Vinish, was injured when their car experienced a tire puncture on the NAD Flyover.
