Udayan Mane secured a victory at the IGPL Invitational South Africa after a long wait, displaying confidence as he heads to the IGPL Invitational Congo. Mane’s remarkable win in Johannesburg, where he finished seven shots ahead of Gaganjeet Bhullar, has fueled his ambition for back-to-back wins. The upcoming event in Congo will be held at the renowned Par-73 Golf Club de Lubumbashi.

Mane, ending a title drought of 1,578 days, expressed the significance of his recent win and the challenging conditions faced during the tournament. He emphasized the importance of quick adaptation in golf, especially when dealing with varying courses and weather conditions. Mane’s focus remains on maintaining performance consistency and adapting swiftly to different challenges.

Acknowledging the support of his family and team, Mane highlighted the role of their belief and patience in his success. As some players head to Singapore for the International Series, notable absences from the Congo event include Bhullar, Baisoya, Kochhar, and Gill. The competition in Congo is expected to feature top contenders like Aman Raj, Kapil Kumar, Veer Ganapathy, and Raghav Chugh, alongside newcomers seeking strong starts to their seasons.
