Shiv Sena-UBT party chief Uddhav Thackeray is scheduled to embark on a comprehensive tour from June 27 to June 29. The tour aims to cover constituencies where party MPs have defected to join the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena.
The tour will span multiple key districts in the state, with specific responsibilities assigned to top party leaders for each location. This initiative follows a recent rebellion by six MPs who hinted at joining the Shinde faction.
Thackeray plans to publicly apologize to voters who supported the now-defected MPs during the 2024 general elections. The tour will kick off in Yavatmal on June 27, with subsequent visits to other constituencies like Parbhani, Dharashiv, and Shirdi.
Thackeray’s strategic tour is aimed at mobilizing party workers and strengthening grassroots connections across Maharashtra ahead of crucial political developments.
