The death toll from the Udhampur bus accident has climbed to 21, as stated by Union Minister of State Jitendra Singh. Among the casualties, 61 individuals have been injured, with some already transferred to Udhampur Hospital and one critically injured person being airlifted to Government Medical College, Jammu. The tragic incident occurred on Monday morning in Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur district while the bus was en route from Ramnagar to Udhampur town. Additional Deputy Commissioner Prem Singh mentioned that the injured have been divided between Udhampur’s government medical college hospital and Ramnagar for treatment. The immediate focus remains on rescuing the injured and ensuring they receive adequate medical attention.
