Ahimsa Entertainment, the distributor of Suriya’s film ‘Karuppu’ in the UK and Europe, revealed that the UK Censor Board has approved the movie for release with an Uncut ’15’ Certificate. The film, directed by R J Balaji, has already received a U/A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) in India. Fans can expect the movie to hit screens worldwide on May 14 this year.
Dream Warrior Pictures, the production company behind ‘Karuppu,’ recently announced the film’s certification as U/A, building anticipation for its theatrical release on May 14. The teaser released on Suriya’s birthday last year has further heightened excitement among fans and movie enthusiasts. The film promises a blend of action sequences, powerful dialogues, and a star-studded cast, including Trisha, Indrans, Sshivada, Swasika, Yogi Babu, and Natty.
Suriya’s character in ‘Karuppu’ is portrayed as a lawyer named Saravanan, also known as Karuppu. The teaser hints at a high-energy commercial entertainer with Suriya delivering impactful punch lines. The movie boasts music by Sai Abhyankkar and cinematography by GK Vishnu, known for his exceptional work in previous films. With Vikram Mor handling stunts and Arun Venjaramoodu as the art director, ‘Karuppu’ promises to be a complete cinematic experience.
