Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan highlighted discussions on enhancing human capital during the 11th NITI Aayog Governing Council meeting. Pradhan, in a message, mentioned the insightful talks on fortifying human resources and advancing India’s development journey at the council meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Pradhan also commended the NDA government’s efforts in supporting farmers’ welfare over the last 12 years. He praised initiatives like PM-KISAN Samman Nidhi, crop insurance, Kisan Credit Card, and modern agricultural facilities that have empowered farmers. The minister reiterated the government’s commitment to farmers’ prosperity and a secure future under PM Modi’s leadership.
The Education Ministry recently granted Letters of Approval (LoPs) to three renowned Foreign Higher Education Institutions. Pradhan viewed this as a significant step towards realizing the internationalization goals of NEP 2020. He highlighted the establishment of campuses by the University of Bristol, the University of York, and the University of New South Wales in India, aiming to enhance quality education and research collaboration.
