Union Health Minister JP Nadda will introduce a range of digital projects for the health sector, including Aarogya Setu 2.0, a comprehensive Personal Health Record Application (PHR) for citizens. The launch event on June 29 in the national capital will gather state representatives, senior government officials, healthcare leaders, technology partners, industry representatives, and key stakeholders to advance India’s connected healthcare ecosystem.
The initiatives to be unveiled encompass citizen-facing applications, provider-focused solutions, interoperability frameworks, registries, and data standards. Aarogya Setu 2.0, building on its established trust and reach during the COVID-19 pandemic, offers various digital health services through a unified platform.
This application allows users to create and manage ABHA (Ayushman Bharat Health Account), access and share digital health records, engage in consent-based health information exchange, utilize AI-powered health insights and smart health reports, integrate wearable devices, register for OPD through Scan & Register, make hospital payments via Scan & Pay, receive medication reminders, manage family health, and more.
