Union Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Bhupender Yadav emphasized the significant strides made towards a developed India in the past 12 years. Speaking at the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sammelan’ in Gandhinagar, he noted the transformation in both development outcomes and citizens’ mindset during this period. Yadav highlighted the strengthening of India’s confidence, cultural identity, and national resolve over the years.
The event, attended by senior representatives like Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi, aimed to review governance achievements and outline the roadmap for ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’. Yadav underlined the importance of building a strong foundation for the future based on the governance of the last 12 years. He stressed the significance of shaping long-term developmental priorities and institutional frameworks during this period.
Yadav also pointed out the improvements in welfare delivery mechanisms, particularly through digital governance systems like Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). He mentioned the expansion of infrastructure and essential services across the country under the principle of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas”. Additionally, he highlighted advancements in national security, innovation promotion, youth opportunities, and economic growth.
During his visit to Gujarat, Yadav commended the Vidya Samiksha Kendra in Gandhinagar for its use of technology in monitoring educational outcomes. He discussed initiatives such as Atal Tinkering Labs and library strengthening to enhance education quality. Yadav also visited Pragatipath in Pethapur and participated in a ‘Jan Kalyan Camp’ in Sadra village as part of his state visit.
