Union Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Arjun Ram Meghwal led a meeting to discuss strategies for enhancing the use of Hindi in official tasks. The gathering, involving 20 members such as the Minister and Members of Parliament, focused on the Hindi Salahkar Samiti (Advisory Committee). During the session, the Minister urged Committee members to share their perspectives.
The meeting, attended by individuals like Manoj Tiwari, Aparajita Sarangi, and Sangeeta Yadav, Members of Parliament, as well as non-government members, saw discussions on the previous meeting’s agenda items from August 22, 2025. Participants provided suggestions on promoting Hindi’s increased usage in the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs’ operations.
Representatives from the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs and the Department of Official Language were present, with Secretary Nikunj Bihari Dhal acknowledging the Committee’s efforts in advancing the use of Hindi. Dr. Satya Prakash, Additional Secretary, expressed gratitude to the Minister and members, ensuring that the meeting’s suggestions would be duly addressed.
