He acknowledged the role of peaceful protests in a democratic system while cautioning against actions that may disrupt law and order. Paswan emphasized the need to balance public expression with maintaining order, underscoring the importance of respecting the concerns of students and the youth.
The clashes occurred as supporters of the protesting group and students marched towards Parliament, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over examination irregularities. The protests stemmed from issues such as the NEET-UG paper leaks, reflecting growing concerns within the student community.
