Union Food Processing Industries Minister Chirag Paswan expressed his support for students’ sentiments, advocating for dialogue rather than force to address their concerns. He highlighted the importance of respecting students’ voices and understanding their grievances, especially in the aftermath of clashes during the ‘Sansad Chalo’ march in Delhi. Paswan emphasized the government’s commitment to engaging in discussions and resolving disputes through dialogue.

Referring to a meeting between Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda and representatives of the protesting group, Paswan reiterated the government’s stance on keeping channels of communication open. He acknowledged the role of peaceful protests in a democratic system while cautioning against actions that may disrupt law and order. Paswan emphasized the need to balance public expression with maintaining order, underscoring the importance of respecting the concerns of students and the youth.

The clashes occurred as supporters of the protesting group and students marched towards Parliament, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over examination irregularities. The protests stemmed from issues such as the NEET-UG paper leaks, reflecting growing concerns within the student community.
