Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu criticized the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab, accusing its leaders of emulating the mindset of invaders and Mughal rulers in their governance approach. He highlighted instances of corruption among party members, stating that the Punjab government has fostered a culture of corruption and exploitation. Despite the Aam Aadmi Party’s initial promise of honesty and clean governance, several ministers and leaders are now facing serious corruption allegations.
Ravneet Singh pointed out the frequent removal of ministers by the Aam Aadmi Party government as evidence of systemic corruption within the administration. He emphasized the importance of democratic values in the selection of Chief Ministers and Prime Ministers, asserting that they should be elected by the people rather than appointed. The Union Minister also urged the Aam Aadmi Party to uphold democratic principles and respect institutions, citing the Bharatiya Janata Party’s growing support in Assam and West Bengal as a reflection of public trust.
Alleging that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has resorted to using pressure tactics against his own party members to consolidate power, Ravneet Singh criticized the internal politics within the Aam Aadmi Party. He raised concerns about selective targeting of leaders for political reasons, calling for accountability and development instead of theatrics and gimmicks. The Union Minister emphasized the need for Chief Minister Mann to prioritize governance and the welfare of Punjab over political drama.
