Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia reiterated the significance of two memoranda of understanding signed with Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on January 7. Speaking in Badarwas (Shivpuri), he emphasized the government’s commitment to transparent and timely fertilizer supplies for farmers. Additionally, he highlighted an MoU focusing on empowering rural women economically through training by India Post Payments Bank.
He inaugurated a modernized sub-post office in Badarwas, part of the postal modernization campaign launched in 2009. Scindia also dedicated new state-of-the-art sub-post offices in Kolaras and Jagatpura in Shivpuri district. These upgraded facilities aim to provide accessible, timely, and reliable postal services with world-class infrastructure.
Emphasizing the role of postal workers, Scindia praised their efforts beyond mail delivery. He underlined the importance of Post Office Savings Bank, insurance schemes, and the Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana. Scindia expressed confidence in India’s Postal Department achieving global recognition for service quality under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
