Union Minister Kiren Rijiju Offers Sacred ‘Chadar’ at Ajmer Dargah
Article Body:
Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Kiren Rijiju presented a ‘chadar’ and flowers at the dargah of Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti in Ajmer on behalf of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Union government. This gesture of respect marked the 814th Urs celebration at the revered shrine. Thousands of devotees are visiting the shrine daily to pay their respects during the Urs, which will last until December 30. Rijiju, along with other officials, offered prayers and sought peace, harmony, and well-being for all. The concluding day of the Urs on December 30 will feature the traditional ‘Bada Kul’ ritual, where devotees will perfume the dargah with kewra, rose water, and attar.
