Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel H.D. In response to the five-state election outcomes, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah acknowledged the expected results in Assam and the better-than-expected performance in Kerala. He noted a potential anti-incumbency sentiment in Tamil Nadu and West Bengal. Siddaramaiah congratulated the TVK party for leading in Tamil Nadu and expressed confidence in Congress’s victory in the by-elections in Davanagere and Bagalkot, despite potential challenges in Davanagere.
