Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports, Mansukh Mandaviya, will be heading discussions on enhancing youth engagement frameworks at a two-day Chintan Shivir in Bengaluru on March 6-7. The event, to be held at the Institute for Stem Cell Science and Regenerative Medicine, aims to strengthen youth engagement and improve program implementation across various states. Officials from several states including Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and others will participate in the discussions.
The Chintan Shivir will serve as a platform for officials to exchange experiences, engage in strategic policy discussions, and enhance youth programs managed by MY Bharat and NSS networks. Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports, Raksha Nikhil Khadse, along with other senior officials, will also be present at the event. The first day will focus on dialogue, policy alignment, and sharing best practices among states, while the second day will concentrate on translating ideas into actionable strategies.
Sessions during the event will cover topics such as digital youth engagement, implementation of the Annual Action Plan for 2026, and inter-ministerial collaboration to enhance youth empowerment. Additionally, there will be discussions on Fit India, the roadmap for Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2027, and strategies to strengthen youth participation and volunteerism. The Chintan Shivir aims to shape future strategies for youth engagement and program delivery through MY Bharat and NSS, reflecting the government’s commitment to empowering the youth as active partners in nation-building.
