Union Minister of State for Defence, Sanjay Seth, commended the cooperation among different agencies involved in national security and service during the conclusion of the week-long Joint Military Exercise ‘Sanyukta Kavach’ in Pune. Seth highlighted the seamless coordination among agencies, emphasizing the importance of a unified approach for CBRN warfare preparedness. He acknowledged the dual role of armed forces and security agencies in both external security and internal crises, underscoring the significance of mutual coordination in such scenarios.

The minister emphasized that exercises like ‘Sanyukta Kavach’ play a vital role in enhancing the integrated response mechanism against evolving threats in VUCA battlefields. He interacted with officers and personnel from participating agencies, boosting their morale and drawing inspiration from their experiences during the exercise. The Defence Ministry, in a social media post, mentioned Seth’s attendance at the event, where a coordinated response to a simulated chemical attack was demonstrated in an urban setting.

Additionally, the Indian Army’s Central Command organized its inaugural Strategic Communication Conclave in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, with nearly 500 attendees. The conclave featured discussions and panels on strategic communication within the national security framework, aiming to enhance communication strategies in the defense sector.
