Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia commended Assam’s developmental trajectory under the leadership of Himanta Biswa Sarma, emphasizing the continuous support of the people for the BJP-led government’s third term. Scindia highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s transformative vision that has propelled Assam and the northeastern region forward in the past 12 years.
Assuring that Assam will persist in its growth under Sarma’s guidance and the new NDA administration, Scindia expressed optimism for the state’s future progress. He extended congratulations to Sarma and his ministerial colleagues on their oath-taking ceremony, acknowledging the collective efforts towards Assam’s advancement.
The swearing-in event for the new Assam government took place in Guwahati, attended by Prime Minister Modi, Union ministers, and NDA-governed state Chief Ministers. Himanta Biswa Sarma, securing a significant win in the recent Assembly elections, is inaugurated as Chief Minister for a second term, with the presence of key BJP leaders like Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh.
