Union Minister for Railways, Ashwini Vaishnaw, along with Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav and others, visited Jaipur for an employment fair at the Rajasthan Constitution Club. The event saw the distribution of appointment letters to 420 youths selected for various central government departments. Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually joined the event and inaugurated a nationwide employment fair, where 51,000 candidates across 47 locations received appointment letters.
Ashwini Vaishnaw highlighted ongoing recruitment drives in Indian Railways, with 1.78 lakh recruitments in progress. He emphasized the introduction of an annual recruitment calendar to streamline the process, with recruitment conducted in four phases covering various positions. Vaishnaw also mentioned the rapid expansion of Indian Railways, including plans for new railway tracks and additional train operations in Rajasthan.
Union Minister Yadav stressed the importance of employment as a responsibility towards society and the nation. He urged the newly appointed candidates to prioritize the spirit of ‘Nation First’ in their professional endeavors. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing the candidates virtually, emphasized government jobs as opportunities for contributing to the country’s development, especially in sectors like railways, banking, Defense, and education.
