Uttar Pradesh Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar has backed Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s criticism of Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav for not visiting Lord Krishna’s birthplace during their respective tenures. Adityanath accused the SP of opposing Hindu traditions and questioned their dedication to Ayodhya’s development.
Rajbhar highlighted that despite holding power, Akhilesh Yadav and his father never visited Mathura or Vrindavan. He challenged them to support the honoring of these holy cities if they truly claim to be Lord Krishna’s descendants. Rajbhar criticized the SP leadership for making passing remarks to stay relevant.
Adityanath emphasized the importance of honoring Mathura, Vrindavan, and Lord Krishna’s birthplace for those claiming religious devotion. The controversy arose after Akhilesh Yadav pledged to develop Ayodhya into a unique sacred city if his party comes to power.
