The filming unit of director Yuvaraj Chinnasamy’s romantic movie ‘Haiku’, starring Aegan, Femina George, and Sridevi Apalla, wrapped up shooting a song on a grand set. Actor Aegan mentioned that the song was shot over two days and nights on a set depicting a boarding place for job-seeking bachelors. The unit is currently in its third schedule after completing shoots in Idukki, Coimbatore, and Chennai.
Aegan revealed that around 40 to 45 percent of the film has been shot, with three more schedules planned. The movie is scheduled for a September release this year. Notably, ‘Haiku’ secured its OTT rights even before filming began, marking a first in the industry. The actors underwent a 30-day rehearsal under the guidance of renowned acting trainer Rajesh before filming commenced.
Produced by Dr. D. Arulanandhu and Mathewo Arulanandhu under Vision Cinema House, the film will have additional screenplay by Hari Haran Ram, known for directing ‘Joe’. Aegan, known for his role in ‘Kozhipannai Chelladurai’, stars alongside Femina George and Sridevi Apalla, recognized for their work in ‘Minnal Murali’ and ‘Court’ respectively. The movie’s cinematography will be handled by Priyesh GuruSwamy, with music by Vijai Bulganin, acclaimed for ‘Court’ and ‘Baby’, and editing by Sakthi Pranesh.
