US President Donald Trump announced that the United States and Iran are on the verge of finalizing a deal to prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon. Trump mentioned that negotiations have progressed to the point where final documents are being readied. He expressed optimism about the agreement, stating that Iran will be prevented from ever possessing a nuclear weapon.

The President hinted at a potential signing ceremony happening soon, possibly in Europe over the weekend. Trump suggested that Vice President JD Vance might represent the administration at the formal event. He also revealed that discussions with leaders from various countries involved in the diplomatic efforts, such as Israel, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, have taken place.

A key aspect of the proposed agreement, as outlined by Trump, is Iran’s commitment to permanently renounce nuclear weapons. Trump emphasized that Iran will be prohibited from acquiring or developing nuclear weapons in any capacity. He also mentioned that the maritime blockade associated with the conflict would be lifted upon the signing of the agreement.

Trump highlighted the impact of recent military actions on Iran’s willingness to engage in negotiations. He claimed that Iran’s military capabilities have been significantly weakened during the conflict. Trump reiterated the primary goal of the talks, emphasizing that Iran will never be allowed to possess or obtain a nuclear weapon.
