The United States, through the US Central Command (CENTCOM), has initiated another series of military strikes on Iran, marking the ninth consecutive night of such operations. The strikes, which commenced at 7 p.m. ET on Sunday, aim to diminish Iran’s military capabilities, particularly those used in attacks on commercial vessels and civilian mariners in the Strait of Hormuz.
CENTCOM recently completed a round of strikes against Iran on July 18, following directives from the Commander in Chief. These operations targeted various Iranian military assets, including coastal surveillance and air defense facilities, maritime capabilities, as well as missile and drone storage sites.
During the eighth night of strikes, US forces successfully hit Iranian military installations, including coastal surveillance and air defense facilities, maritime capabilities, and missile and drone storage sites. Additionally, American military assets targeted Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps forces responsible for attacks on US service members in Jordan on July 17. Over 50,000 US military personnel are actively engaged in operations across the Middle East, maintaining high readiness and vigilance.
