Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath criticized the Congress and the Samajwadi Party for allegedly inciting students and prioritizing politics over national interests. He highlighted their involvement in the recent ‘Sansad Chalo’ march and a sit-in near Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence in Delhi. Adityanath, addressing a public gathering in Gorakhpur, condemned the actions of the opposition parties, accusing them of tarnishing the reputation of students.

The Chief Minister pointed out that the Congress and the Samajwadi Party had opposed the Citizen Amendment Act (CAA) passed by the Parliament in 2019. He criticized their silence on issues concerning Hindu minorities in Bangladesh and Pakistan, as well as anti-Hindu violence in India. Adityanath alleged that these parties resorted to negative tactics when the government addressed Hindu concerns.

Adityanath further accused the Congress and the SP of shifting their focus from farmers to Dalits and youths, and now targeting students. He emphasized that these parties were prioritizing their political agendas over the nation’s welfare. Referring to the recent agitation near PM Modi’s residence, Adityanath condemned the attempt to disrupt law and order, labeling it as an insult to democracy and Dr. BR Ambedkar.

The Chief Minister criticized the Congress and SP for allegedly conspiring against the country and attempting to create chaos and anarchy. He claimed that while in power, these parties had caused harm through riots, curfews, and corruption. Adityanath accused them of now trying to sow division in society based on foreign funding, aiming to disrupt peace through negative narratives in the current political landscape.
