Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath criticized the Samajwadi Party and Congress for exploiting students’ futures and assured strict actions against the “paper leak mafia” under the Modi government. Adityanath emphasized that those endangering students’ futures will face consequences, citing actions taken in the NEET paper leak case.
Addressing a public event in Fatehpur, Adityanath inaugurated 125 development projects worth over Rs 489 crore, highlighting the government’s efforts to protect students’ interests. He mentioned proposed amendments to strengthen laws against paper leaks and exam-related crimes, ensuring severe penalties for offenders, including asset confiscation.
Adityanath condemned the opposition parties for neglecting the youth’s welfare and praised Prime Minister Modi’s recent decisions safeguarding students’ futures. He emphasized the government’s commitment to combatting malpractices, mentioning the introduction of stricter legal provisions to prevent unfair means in examinations.
The Chief Minister underscored the government’s zero-tolerance policy towards mafias and criminals in Uttar Pradesh, asserting decisive actions against them. Adityanath accused the Samajwadi Party of depriving deserving candidates of job opportunities before 2017, attributing the exam mafia issue to the Congress and the Samajwadi Party’s past actions.
Highlighting the government’s transparency in recruitment processes, Adityanath claimed to have provided over nine lakh government jobs in nine years. He praised the employment opportunities created under his administration, emphasizing the youth’s enhanced global recognition and the multitude of job prospects available to them.
Adityanath reiterated the government’s dedication to safeguarding students’ interests, promising continued stringent actions against malpractices and irregularities in exams and recruitments. He warned that those jeopardizing young aspirants’ futures would face severe legal repercussions under the proposed strengthened law.
