Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh emphasized the government’s commitment to safeguarding Uttar Pradesh’s heritage. The aim is to present the state’s rich history in a modern and engaging way for future generations. Quality standards and timely project completion are key priorities for all executing agencies.
Significant allocations include funds for the Munshi Premchand Memorial Museum in Varanasi and the Glass Museum in Firozabad. The development of the Shaheed Late Ramchandra Vidyarthi Memorial Site in Deoria and upgrades at the State Museum in Lucknow are also part of the government’s cultural preservation efforts. Projects in Jhansi and Kushinagar aim to boost heritage tourism in the state.
