In a significant administrative move, the Uttar Pradesh government, under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has transferred 182 Provincial Civil Services (PCS) officers across the state. The reshuffle, announced late on Sunday night, involves the reassignment of Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs) and other administrative officers to new roles immediately. The state administration has issued an official transfer list instructing the officers to assume their new responsibilities promptly.
The transfer order includes the reassignment of PCS officer Pushparnath Chaudhary, previously SDM in Amroha, as the new SDM in Unnao. Pratibha Mishra, who was stationed in Varanasi, has been designated as SDM in Kanpur Dehat. Simultaneously, Shubham Yadav, previously SDM in Unnao, has been tasked with the responsibilities of SDM in Bulandshahr. The government has also transferred Pushpendra Patel, former SDM in Ghazipur, to Ambedkar Nagar in the same capacity. Surabhi Sharma has been appointed as Sub-Divisional Magistrate in Baghpat.
Additionally, Avadhesh Kumar Nigam, previously SDM in Deoria, has been reassigned as SDM in Firozabad.
