Uttar Pradesh Minister Dharampal Singh has raised concerns over the alleged embezzlement of donations at Ayodhya’s Ram Temple, questioning the source that informed Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav about it. Singh urged for a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the matter. Akhilesh Yadav was the first to highlight the issue through a social media post on June 7, calling for a judicial probe.
Reacting to accusations by Akhilesh Yadav against the BJP government, Minister Dharampal Singh criticized the diversion tactics and termed them as childish. He emphasized the need for a thorough investigation into the donation theft allegations. In response, Akhilesh Yadav accused the BJP of trying to distract the public and criticized their negative approach.
Minister Dharampal Singh countered Akhilesh Yadav’s claims by stating that the SP Chief had never visited Ayodhya for darshan and accused him of playing politics to gain votes from a specific community. Singh highlighted the need to scrutinize the sources that informed Akhilesh Yadav about the alleged embezzlement. He stressed the importance of a transparent investigation by the SIT to uncover the truth.
