The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has initiated the written examination process for filling 32,679 constable positions. The recruitment test spans three days, attracting candidates from Uttar Pradesh and neighboring states. In Lucknow, candidates from various states are participating in the competitive exam at the National PG College center. The recruitment drive has garnered significant interest among young individuals aspiring to join the police force. In Amethi, preparations are complete for around 28,000 candidates across 12 centers. Strict security protocols are enforced to maintain the exam’s integrity.
In Varanasi, the exam is held across 50 centers in two shifts, expecting a massive turnout of approximately 132,192 candidates. Gorakhpur has 44 exam centers with 116,784 candidates anticipated. Candidates have highlighted the intense competition and concerns about paper leaks.
Authorities have deployed extensive security personnel and briefed officials at exam centers to uphold the exam’s integrity. Candidates have shared their experiences and concerns regarding the competitive nature of the exam.
In various districts like Prayagraj and Mainpuri, candidates have commended the strict security measures and efficient management at exam centers. Electronic devices are prohibited inside exam premises to ensure a fair process. The exam is conducted in two shifts to accommodate the large number of candidates.
