The Char Dham Yatra, especially the pilgrimage to Lord Badrinath, has seen a significant increase in pilgrim numbers this year, surpassing eight lakh devotees within 40 days of the temple opening. To manage the growing footfall, the Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee has introduced a contribution-based system for VIP ‘darshan’. A dedicated VIP office near the temple premises aims to streamline the process and enhance the experience for visitors seeking protocol ‘darshan’.
