Vaibhav Sooryavanshi Leads ICC U19 Team of the Tournament with Indian Players Dominating

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi stood out in the ICC U19 Team of the Tournament with a remarkable 175 runs off 80 balls against England, earning him the Player of the Tournament title. Alongside Sooryavanshi, Kanishk Chouhan and Henil Patel from India also secured spots in the 12-player lineup.
The selection committee, consisting of Ian Bishop, Lydia Greenway, Andy Flower, and Telford Vice, recognized the talents of these young cricketers. Chouhan showcased his all-round skills, while Patel’s exceptional bowling performance, including a notable spell of five for 16 against the USA, contributed to their selection.
In addition to the Indian trio, England’s Thomas Rew, who served as captain and wicketkeeper, impressed with 330 runs throughout the tournament, with a notable unbeaten century in the semi-finals against Australia.
