Vaibhav Sooryavanshi stood out in the ICC U19 Team of the Tournament with a remarkable 175 runs off 80 balls against England, earning him the Player of the Tournament title. Alongside Sooryavanshi, Kanishk Chouhan and Henil Patel from India also secured spots in the 12-player lineup.
The selection committee, consisting of Ian Bishop, Lydia Greenway, Andy Flower, and Telford Vice, recognized the talents of these young cricketers. Chouhan showcased his all-round skills, while Patel’s exceptional bowling performance, including a notable spell of five for 16 against the USA, contributed to their selection.
