Veteran Bollywood actress and theatre personality Lillete Dubey recently shared highlights from her bustling visit to Delhi. She described the experience as a mix of performances, celebrations, and personal moments that brought her joy. Dubey, aged 72, posted several pictures on Instagram, including moments with Kirti Kulhari and Rajeev Siddhartha. She mentioned trying bartending for the first time at Indian Accent’s Upstairs bar and celebrating Rajeev’s birthday.

The actress expressed her delight in the caption, stating that Delhi kept her engaged and happy throughout her stay. She recounted the various activities, from bartending to birthday celebrations, family gatherings, great food, and interactions with dogs. Additionally, she mentioned the success of her shows “Zen Katha” and “Dance like a Man” in Delhi, with two full-house performances and enthusiastic applause.

Lillete Dubey’s recent project, “Songs of Paradise,” directed by Danish Renzu, features Saba Azad, Soni Razdan, and Zain Khan Durrani in lead roles. The film also includes Taaruk Raina, Sheeba Chaddha, Shishir Sharma, and Lalit Parimoo. The storyline revolves around a Kashmiri woman aspiring to be a singer, inspired by the music of Raj Begum, the renowned Melody Queen of Kashmir. The film portrays the journey of Kashmiri artists, their challenges, and eventual triumph, set against the backdrop of Kashmir’s music, culture, and history.

Known for her roles in various films like “Zubeidaa,” “Monsoon Wedding,” and “The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel,” Lillete Dubey continues to captivate audiences with her versatile performances.
