Veteran actress Poonam Dhillon has shared her thoughts on the recent FWICE’s non-cooperation movement linked to a conflict over “Don 3” involving Ranveer Singh and Farhan Akhtar. Dhillon emphasized the importance of avoiding harm to others due to internal disputes stemming from ego clashes. She highlighted the negative impact industry conflicts can have on work and individuals involved.
The actress expressed concern about the repercussions of such situations on project collaborators, stating, “They should not suffer. I would definitely say nobody should suffer because of that. So, in egos, in fights, in issues, the needy people should not suffer.” Dhillon drew a parallel to broader societal impacts, urging that conflicts should not halt work progress or cause suffering to those involved, similar to the repercussions seen in wider conflicts.
The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) recently issued a non-cooperation directive against Ranveer Singh following his alleged abrupt exit from “Don 3.” Producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani lodged a complaint with FWICE, citing an estimated loss of around Rs 45 crore during the movie’s pre-production phase. In response, FWICE announced a Non-Cooperation Directive (NCD) against Ranveer Singh, citing his behavior towards the Federation and project stakeholders as the reason for their decision.
Ranveer Singh’s official spokesperson also released a statement in response, stating, “Ranveer Singh holds the highest regard for the film industry and everyone involved with the Don franchise. Throughout the recent developments surrounding Don 3, he has chosen to maintain silence, believing that professional discussions and personal relationships should be handled with dignity, maturity, and mutual respect.”
